Active Gloucestershire is a charity whose vision is that “everyone in Gloucestershire is active every day”. They unite organisations and people around this vision and enable them to make it a reality.
Barnwood Trust is a charitable foundation aimed at creating the potential in Gloucestershire for disabled people and people with mental health problems to make the most of their lives. In 2013, Barnwood Trust commissioned a study of wellbeing in Gloucestershire, designed to explore whether residents living with and without impairments enjoyed the same levels of wellbeing.
Carers Gloucestershire is an independent charity helping unpaid Carers in Gloucestershire, and a major local provider commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council to provide a range of services to support local carers. They produce a quarterly magazine, Caring Matters, for unpaid, local Carers.

Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Board - Enabling Active Communities Policy
This joint policy describes how the Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Board will work to enable local communities to become more active, stronger and more sustainable, and in turn improve the health and wellbeing of local people.
Gloucestershire Rural Community Council (GRCC)
Gloucestershire Rural Community Council provides advice and support in the following areas: Community and social enterprise delivering local solutions; Funding advice for projects, communities and groups; Localism and Community Rights including Neighbourhood Planning; Parish, town and community-led plans; Project development and business planning.
Gloucestershire Young Carers
Gloucestershire Young Carers works in partnership with Carers Gloucestershire to provide opportunities for young carers and young adult carers to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing, and raise awareness and support for young carers with other relevant agencies and organisations.
Healthwatch Gloucestershire exists to speak up for local people on health and care. This requires the organisation to reach out across the county to listen to local people about their experiences of services – good and bad.
The VCS Alliance is an independent voice for the voluntary and community sectors within Gloucestershire.
