Accessibility - Transport
It is essential to ensure that wherever people live in the county, they have access to public services. The rural nature of much of Gloucestershire creates problems for people wanting to use centrally base services, and for agencies providing services to people in their own homes. To help the understanding of geographical accessibility issues there are several sources of data, both national and local, which have been used to provide the information below.
Overview
Accessibility Matrix 2019
- Our Accessibility Matrix shows the drive and public transport journey times to key services in the county.
- Further information on the methodology applied to the calculations can be found in the Accessibility Matrix 2019 Metadata.
